While my professor was droning on about UTPs, packets and frames, I took a moment to read the dedication in our textbook. It read: "I'd like to dedicate this book to everyone I've ever snarked during a game of Half-Life, rail-gunned in Quake, or mowed down with a Level Three sentry gun in Team Fortress. Make no mistake though--I don't apologize, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat." Geeks will be geeks. And proud of it too.
