It's off to work I go again. It's sad, but working 1st shift blood bank is pretty much my only social outlet. What's even sadder is that all these people that I see working 1st shift blood bank are middle-aged women. The people on 3rd shift haven't been exactly the most welcoming crew of people. It seems my interaction with them is forced at best. The 1st shifters, on the other hand... they're incredibly kind and friendly people--it's just that the person closest to my age is the 30-year-old ditsy (by her own admission) lab aide. I guess I'll take whatever I can get.
