I think I'm starting to go loopy. All this cramming of--what seems to me--trivial scientific fact has really started to get to me. I look at phthalic anhydride (formed by heating o-phthalic acid) and all I can think of is a freaky snowman chasing after me.

(I suppose it doesn't help that I was holding the book sideways as I read lying down...)
