I had "rehearsal" today, which was just sitting in a classroom talking about the graduation ceremony. We didn't even get to see the room it will be in. It turns out I'll be the first up the stage for the Master candidates. This means I get the responsibility of actually having to remember what I'm supposed to do (as opposed to the the 10 or so lemmings to follow me). Apparently, there are quite a few things to do up on stage:
- collect diploma cover,
- shake hands,
- take off mortarboard,
- receive master's hood,
- shake hands,
- put mortarboard back on (while holding diploma cover),
- receive alumni pin,
- shake hands,
- get tassel flipped from (my) right to left.
