Wow. I haven't been up this late in a long time on a school night. It feels good, in a way, to know that I spent all this time at the lab being mostly (semi-)productive. Well, there was that Chinese buffet dinner... and the fancy diagrams putzing with Word I shouldn't have made... and the listening to music... But there were still plenty of hidden Markov models, free energy calculations and dot matrix plots. I love staying up late. It brings out vitality--probably only because of running on adrenaline to meet a deadline, but still--it makes you feel alive. Now a 1-hour nap and it's the start of another day...
