I've never liked karaoke. I could never find the entertainment value of singing aloud to songs just because you know the words. But last night, I actually had fun at work because of singing. In the lulls between busy periods, I pulled out a cd and a co-worker and I belted out verse after verse of Third Eye Blind songs. (Thank God for liner notes!) We were both incredibly out of tune but too drunk on fatigue to care. It made the time pass quickly... and all of a sudden it was time to go. I'm tempted to buy some more CDs so I'll have more stuff to sing at work. Maybe I'll invest in a mic. Or one of those karaoke machines that can make anyone sound good. For the sake of all the people around that would probably be a good thing.
