It's funny how enrapturing web surfing can be--especially if it involves trips down memory lane. Tonight, I received one of Miss Hamilton's updates. Miss Hamilton was the librarian at Churchill Heights when I went there from 1987-92. (I don't remember that many things about her, just that she always seemed happy and that she liked green.) Every few months, she solicits updates from ex-Churchillers and ex-Woburnites and distributes them. This time around, I didn't know any of the submitters well, but--as always--I ended up Googling the names of people who unfailingly bring back fond memories. Tonight's Google voyage brought me to the (very sweet) engagement story of a friend, mentions of long-lost church friends and pictures of people a few grades younger. I couldn't be prouder of all the people I went to school with: all my friends have turned out so well. Now if only I could get my act together and join the ranks of my accomplished peers. That's going to be hard to do given all the blogs I just discovered. Dang.
