Since I'm still in procrastination mode, I'll post again. So, how many times can I burn myself in the course of a meal? The record is 3 times so far: once trying to figure out whether my pasta was done, once trying to rinse out the pot that held the pasta, once while wiping off the stove. The first two times were stupidity, but the last one wasn't fair. I was cleaning off my gas stove 45 minutes after having turned off the burner. I guess the heat would explain the steam that appeared when I sprayed the cleaner. Ouch, I just burnt myself again when I went to check whether it had cooled off yet. Apparently, the stovetop is always hot. Now if I were to burn myself again, that would be stupidity.
